Frank E. Lamothe is the president of Lamothe
& Hamilton. He has over 30 years experience
in handling personal injury and death cases.
His litigation experience has included
the following areas: maritime, offshore,
automobile, trucking, motorcycle, premises
liability, products liability, breach of
security, and aviation accidents. He has
tried cases in both state and federal courts
in Louisiana, as well as in other states.
Mr. Lamothe is one of the select attorneys
who has the distinction to be listed in
all editions of “The Best Lawyers
of America” in the area of personal
injury practice. He was also named by New
Orleans Magazine as one of the best personal
injury lawyers in New Orleans.
Mr. Lamothe is a fellow of the American
College of Trial Lawyers, which is by invitation
to distinguished trial lawyers after extensive
peer review. He is also an invited member
of the American Board of Trial Advocates.
Mr. Lamothe is a member of the Million
Dollar Advocates Forum, which is limited
to attorneys who achieved a verdict or settlement
of one million dollars or more on behalf
of a client.
Mr. Lamothe has taught Trial Advocacy at
the Tulane University School of Law, the
Paul F. Hebert School of Law at Louisiana
State University, and the School of Law
at Loyola University in New Orleans.
Mr. Lamothe is the author of numerous articles
on various topics relating to personal injury
and death litigation and the trial of lawsuits.
He has served on numerous seminar programs,
and has lectured at a large number of continuing
legal education programs in the areas of
personal injury and death litigation.
He is a member of the bars of Louisiana,
Texas, and Colorado.
He lives in Covington, Louisiana and is
the father of three children.
